PUBLISHING DEPARTMENT
This department comprise of library department and Literature Evangelism club. It is headed by Ruth Lameck, assisted by Eucabeth, with a committee of five people to help run the department.
This department has its office located at KUSDA (Kenyatta University Seventh Day Adventist) annex room number five (upstairs)
In the library, we have different collections, such as printed information materials (books), audio visual, CDs and DVDs which help people grow spiritually. We deal with services such as loaning of Information materials.
We also avail information materials for sales in literature Evangelism club. The materials are mostly spiritual materials such as song books, Bible among others. The library operates on a daily basis during the week day: prophecy books, spiritual books, Sabbath school lessons (quarterly), historical books, books on Bible study, health books, and children books among others.
Here are some of the rules that govern the library:
- When one borrow an information material he or she should take with it one week and return.
- silent should be maintained while in the library
- When one borrow an information materials he should take good care of it, should not write in it, in case of alost you will be expected to replace.
- No eating in the library, also you should not carry any book out of the library without the permission of the librarian.
OBJECTIVES
- To make sure the library hold are secure and made available to the readers
- To ensure increase in the library holding
- To avail information materials to all departments in the church
- To create awareness on the library holdings
MISSION
To change people’s lives by availing information materials that will brighten their lives, strengthen their faith and prepare them for the second coming of Christ.
