The blessings of the Sabbath are innumerable. God has invested on this day blessings to those who will heed to his call: “Come unto me ye who labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28) Sabbath brings repose from labor and it tells of joy divine. This solemn promise is still valid to us.
In line with this wonderful promise, God also promises that whatever you ask on this Sabbath day He grants before the Sun goes down. What a wonderful promise! It is in this same mind that KUSDA church decided to organize a special Sabbath so that members can pray to God and fast from all that can come in between them and their God.
Prayer and Fasting Sabbath will be on the Sabbath of 03/07/2021 and will begin from 7:00AM to 5:00PM. The sermon will be delivered by the servant of God Ev. Kamau Onchera who will dwell on the topic The Person God Uses. The Key Text will be from the book of Daniel 9:3,4 coupled with SDAH 490 : Jesus Lover of My Soul as the theme song.
You, dear reader, is also encouraged to spend some time to make known your request to God through prayer. If you are in a position to fast for the sake of helping others, kindly do so as well. Our God is not deaf to hear the cries of His children who call upon Him with sincerity and contrite heart. He is able to show up in your tough situation and turn it to a reason for your smile. He is capable of making a way where you have given up. What can hinder you from approaching Him. He is never far from any of us.
