“For God so loved the world that He gave….” This statement explains what love costed our God. True love is costly dear reader. If you have never comprehended the cost of loving, then you have never loved. Love may cost our time, resources, our friends, etc. But an extent to which love costs life, it becomes unfathomable.
That’s what Christ’s love for us costed Him. He decided to run at a loss for our sake. We who were destined to eternal destruction, were redeemed by love. Sin demanded its full pay: that is, death (Romans 6:23), but Christ lost all to counter the demands of the sin.

This love lifted me and you from the pits of death, and established our hope on the eternal life. We had nothing with which to claim this love, but it took the grace of God to have us redeemed. When all and sundry stood against us, pointing us towards the ultimate destruction, Christ stood up and boldly declared that He loves us.
Dear reader, have you ever comprehended the price had to pay to have you live? Is it making any sense to you that your life was purchased from the depths of ruin untold? Are you still feeling wretched that you shy away from the one who loved you and redeemed you?
True love is a rare commodity in these last days because it was prophesied to be so (2 Timothy 3:4). People embrace self-love rather than love for their neighbors. The love of many has actually grown cold. But there is one person who still loves you with an everlasting love, and wit that love, He has drawn you to Himself (Jeremiah 31:3).
What then does He expect you to do? Love is costly. You who is loved needs to demonstrate the character of love too. Love does not delight in evil (1 Corinthians 13:6). We are expected to obey God with this body that was purchased by a price.
This sabbath of 24th July, 2021, the Servant of God Ev. Ibrahim Kadaro will speak on this topic , drawing from the book of 1st Corinthians 6:20. The service will be held in KUSDA Church from 8am-5pm.
