ELDERS ESHOT:
The journey to the top is usually breathtaking and those who are not interested just sit at the bottom and make comments. Behold what a privilege it is to be called by God’s own name, and now that the Lord has invited us into His presence, we seek is Holy face to have an experience with Him like none other. Many are the times we have exhibited nominal Christianity, but KUSDA satisfies the need for a deeper experience with God, an enabling story that shall keep you praising the Saviour all the day long. Indeed a story that shall keep you in perfect submission to the will of God all the days of your life.
Gleaning snippets of spiritual wit, learning to be audacious , nurturing the temerity to reach forward and upward for eternity, daring to dream wild, reaching for the furthest in imagination when offered infinity. Growing daily, deeper, higher, and broader because potential never helps when it remains latent. Shunning the world’s endorsement of bare minimum effort at an attempt at maximum profit. Enjoying the safety and familiarity of spiritual zones while they last, and when the chance comes, remaining willing to take the risk and trade better for the best.
Getting out of religious laxity, translating vision into reality. Not settling for Ishmael because Isaac is coming soon, because in the school of life, Christ moulds us into the men and women He delights us to be. KUSDA brings to us the knowledge that the essence of life is spending time daily at the feet of Jesus, talking with Him and reading his word since making God a first priority in our lives opens such a beautiful experience.
The KUSDA Elders Council is committed to nurturing and protecting the well-being of the members, recognizing all their spiritual aspirations while acknowledging the supremacy of the Almighty God.
Conversely, human progress never rolls in on the wheels of inevitability; it comes through the tireless efforts of people willing to be co – workers with God. Man is growth by law and not a creation by artifice, and cause and effect is absolute and undeviating in the hidden realm of thought as in the world of visible and material things. A noble and Godlike character is not a thing of favour or chance, but is the natural result of continued effort in right thinking, the effect of long cherished association with Godlike thoughts. An ignoble and bestial character, by the same process, is the result of the continued harbouring of groveling thoughts.
Psalms 90:12 ‘So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.’
‘We live in deeds, not years; in thoughts, not breaths; in feelings, not in figures on a dial. We should count time by heart-throbs. He most lives who thinks most, feels the noblest, acts the best.’ Ellen G. White, Our Higher Calling, 7.7.
