When Christ ascended to heaven, He left His followers and anyone who will take up His name with a solemn task. Having learnt of the Savior and all His sacrificial role for humanity, they were not to keep it to themselves. They were to spread of this Messiah to all parts of the world, starting from where they were, to the neighborhood and expanding their boundary to all corners of this inhabitable planet earth (Acts 1:8).
In the same spirit, KUSDA church has seen the essence of spreading the Gospel, starting from the Kenyatta University campus itself. The Sabbath of 27th February, 2021 will be a Discipleship Sabbath. The members of Church will go out to conduct Bible Study with fellow comrades with the sole intention of sharing Christ with them, and with the conviction of the Holy Spirit, win them to Christ’s fold.
If you are away from campus, it is a humble plea to take an initiative to reach out to even a single person. This can be your friend, spouse, parents, a neighbor or any stranger. We not how the Spirit moves. You will be surprised how much God is able to do through you. He promised to be with you to the very end of the age as you perform this sacred this duty. (Matthew 28:20) The power to do and to will He gives. All you need to answer to Him is “Here I am Oh Lord send me!”.
