What an ambiguous phrase! Beauty is something every living being in existence wishes to embrace and appreciate. God Himself created beauty. His position concerning the idea of beauty is clearly expressed in the creatures. When you behold the flowers and how hills and valleys are fashioned, you will come to realize how much our Almighty God values beauty.
As a matter of fact, to confirm that aesthetic was part of original world, God Himself, having beheld what He created, termed them very good. This fact has faded since the introduction of sin. Sin has made what was beautiful to become far from beautiful. Aesthetic has almost faded away, except in nature. Humans have forsaken the natural beauty and instead they have opted the artificial beauty. This however, has had catastrophic effect on life and even the general sense of beauty. Solomon, looking at this very subject comments that “God made human beings straightforward, but they search for many complications” (Ecclesiastes 7:29).What was beautiful even from far or near, has tuned to be far from beautiful: no longer beautiful. Why?
